Cannon units have a 1-year, limited warranty with the following exceptions:

Proof-of-purchase is required on in-warranty repairs covered by the one-year warranty.
If there is damage to a Cannon unit due to any of the conditions listed below, the customer will be charged for the actual cost (parts plus labor) to repair the unit:
- The defect resulted from improper or inadequate use or maintenance.
- Improper installations.
- Accidental damage.
- Unauthorized modifications, repair, misuse, or abuse.
- Operation outside the specifications for the product.
